Joe Sheperd is happily retired and residing in beautiful Victoria, where he as an elder and his wife, Bobbi, have served in God's Church on Vancouver Island since 1976. He served his first thirteen working years in the RCAF, carrying out hospital administration - the general "operations room" for all the records and paper work in all military hospitals. While in the Air Force, he heard "The World Tomorrow" during a tour of duty in Northern Quebec. That led to leaving the Air Force in 1964, when both Bobbi and Joe were baptized by Richard Pinelli. His previous experience and graduation from an accounting program, helped him develop a fine career as a Senior Administrator with the British Columbia Ministry of Health. He served with them for 29 years. Bobbi and Joe's "Greatest Adventure Ever" is being a part of God's Church and having a wonderful opportunity to serve brethren throughout Vancouver Island's 310 miles. |
