Don Hooser is pastor of the Sedro-Woolley, Washington, congregation and a writer for the church's publications. He was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up mostly in East Texas. His wife, Elsie, is from Detroit, Michigan. They have three grown children, Amy, Randy, and Danny. Mr. Hooser graduated in 1963 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a degree in mechanical engineering, and graduated in 1966 from Ambassador College, Big Sandy. Elsie attended Ambassador College 1964 to 1966. Since 1966, Don has served congregations in Ohio, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, and now in Washington. |
